Become a Gateway Reviewer
There are two types of Gateway reviewers, team member and team leader. Both public and private sector personnel can become Gateway Reviewers. To become a reviewer you need to undertake training through our training provider BTLi as well as completing the Gateway Reviewer Nomination Form If you are interested in becoming a member of a Gateway Review Team, the Skills Profile will provide a guideline as to the level of skills and experience required. Training One day workshops are available for prospective Gateway Reviewers who wish to become accredited as Gateway Reviewers. Project Teams or any other individuals who want to gain a better understanding of the Gateway Review Process, and what to expect during Gateway Reviews are also welcome to attend. Participants can choose from two types of workshops. Application forms are available from the BTLI website The workshops, which are run by training provider BTLi, are designed around a realistic case study of a medium risk project and cover the principles and techniques of the Gateway Review Process. Group workshops are also available for Departments or larger groups (12-16 people). For more information on training, contact the Gateway Helpdesk
